If you are relatively experienced in internet marketing, or if you have just recently started, you have probably realized two things that are abundantly clear. In most cases you need to build a list, and/or create a product. Chances are you have tried or are trying now to make some commissions by promoting someones Clickbank product. Maybe you have been successful, maybe not. We all determine what success is in our own minds.
Don't you think your internet marketing life would be better if you were the one who created the product and others sold it for you - instead of the other way around? If you want a larger slice of the profits from the internet marketing game, you need to make a product. You can do it! Don't get scared by the thought of becoming a product creator. There are easy ways and hard ways to create products. Here is the basic process.
Step #1 - Decide on What Kind of Product You Will Create
This is the first stumbling block most face. Are you going to make an ebook, tutorial videos, a membership site, or a great piece of software? The biggest obstacle is figuring out what you want to produce. Whatever you do, you are going to have to do some market research to see if anyone will be willing to buy your product. You might be willing to buy an ebook about "How to Create a Successful Monarch Butterfly Exhibit In Your Own Neighborhood", but my guess is that few others would share that interest. Market research is essential.
Step #2 - Create Your Product
In this example we will use the butterfly example (but seriously, I don't think this is a good niche.)
Make your ebook, and make it look nice. To avoid returns, give valuable information. Make a catchy title for it. Don't forget to make an eye catching ebook cover. A picture of one butterfly and simple text title is not good enough. It has to scream - buy me! Make your sales page. If you are not a good writer, hire a copywriter. Your sales page should be eye catching. If your sales page looks like it was done by a 6 year old, don't expect many people to click the buy now button. If you are not good at making great looking sales pages - outsource it. Make your thank you page. Basically, you will use the same template as the sales page, but you will need to tweak it a bit.
Step #3 - Submit Your Product To Clickbank Along With $50
When your product is accepted by Clickbank, it's time to go shopping for that new Ferrari (just kidding, not yet).
All of this is doable, even by some relatively inexperienced folks. As I said from the beginning, don't let those steps scare you. Here is a dose of reality that may shock you. Most Clickbank vendors don't make their own products!
