3 Secrets To Write An Article That Will Blow Away Your Clickbank Sales

If you're a new article marketer focusing on persuasive writing as a tool to sell Clickbank products, you're cutting yourself short if you don't compliment your efforts 3 fold.

These 3 secrets to writing an article are based on the assumption that you have spent some time with the basics of article marketing and already know how to write articles where you install your Clickbank hyper links.

Let's begin with what is undoubtedly the most important aspect of your article marketing campaign:

Writing Articles People Actually Want to Read!

Nothings worse than spending hours researching and Writing an article that hits the floor with a deafening thud when you try to promote it.

If you've been promoting a great affiliate product and using all the affiliate links, banners and promotions provided by the publisher, yet your sales are minimal at best, try reviewing your last few articles and ask yourself these 3 questions:

Do I Provide My Readers with Articles of Interest?

Were My Articles Persuasive?

Did I Submit My Articles to Enough Sites and Maximize My Exposure?

If you answered no to any of the above, try using these 3 article writing tips below to start getting massive hits on your Clickbank links.

1st Tip: Writing Articles of Interest

Write articles on current events. Stay informed of the trends in daily article writing by reviewing popular news sites and write articles on those topics.

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery and the most profitable.

I know a very successful article marketer who once told me:

"I don't know what all the fuss is about when trying to market a product. Just find out what people are buying....and sell it to them"

In other words, if the articles on your favorite news site are focused mostly on work at home opportunities, wouldn't it be a great idea to write an article promoting Internet marketing tutorials that links to a Clickbank program?

2nd Tip: Persuasive Writing

Writing persuasive articles is merely a form of copy writing that leads your reader down a path to a destination of your choosing.

You accomplish this first through capturing your readers attention with a statement in your title. Try adding some flavor to it that makes the reader need to read your article.

Example:

"Stay at Home Mom Blows Away Husbands Income with Affiliate Sales"

Sounds a lot better than:

"Make Money On Line for Stay at Home Moms".

Once you have captured your readers attention, you need to guide them through your article in a way that leaves them anxiously needing to read the next paragraph.

Example:

"This one time broke burger flipper from Detroit now owns 200 Burger and Drink joints from Canada to Mexico and for the first time ever reveals his secret to success anyone can master"

"For a limited time he will reveal his secret on how to take $50.00 of burger meat and turn it into $1,000.00 of pure profit"

"If your burger business is lagging in sales, this information will exponentially explode your income!"

Do you see what's happening here?

Each sentence of your article leads your reader to the next with the anticipation of "Getting an Answer".

Imagine using persuasive writing all the way through your article to the end where for the reader to get the answer, they need to click on your affiliate link!

Writing an article in this way assures you will get the clicks, but to explode your exposure you need to submit your articles to multiple sites.

Which leads us to our 3rd tip.

3rd Tip: Submit Articles On-line

You can post links to your articles on popular social sites, news blogs, ezines, free blog pages, auction sites and just about everywhere else. But for many successful article marketers, an article submission platform is at the base of their success in article marketing.

Article submission services are by far the quickest way to get maximum exposure for your article marketing efforts and gain hits to your Clickbank links.

An article submitter posts your articles for you, saving you time and allowing you to focus on quality article writing, family time, or just a lazy afternoon in the hammock.

There is usually a fee associated with article submission services, but a good service is well worth the small fee.

If you were to consider the time it would take you to post your articles on 200 sites, about a 1/2 an hour a piece, the small fee is well worth your expense in time saved. Afterall, to quote an age old addage, Time is Money.

Following these 3 simple secrets to article marketing will soon have your Clickbank sales exploding as a reward!

Affiliate Marketing - Checking Clickbank Products For Customer Satisfaction

Affiliate marketing is a great way to make money online and when you market Clickbank products you have the assurance that you will get paid without any hassle. In case you are new to affiliate marketing and are not familiar with Clickbank, I'll explain a little about it.

Clickbank is the Internet's leading retailer of digital products. By signing up as a Clickbank affiliate, you get access to thousands of digital products. The products include hundreds of ebooks on all sorts of topics, anti-virus software, video instruction courses. In fact, if a product can be downloaded, Clickbank will have it.

You don't have to worry about keeping track of individual programs or making sure you get paid, Clickbank does all that for you by acting as middle-man between the affiliate and the product vendor. All you need to do is choose programs through Clickbank and promote them. Clickbank pays affiliate commissions regularly every two weeks.

When choosing programs to promote, you will obviously be drawn to programs that have a high conversion rate - ie a high percentage of the people who click through to the program actually purchase it. There is, however, a further thing you should be checking when choosing Clickbank products to promote and that is the refund rate.

Clickbank has a no quibble refund policy. This policy means that prospective customers will be more likely to buy a product because they can feel safe in making a purchase since, if the product does not live up to the advertising, they can obtain a full refund without any problem. Obviously, if a product is not satisfactory to customers, it will have a high refund rate.

You can check the Clickbank refund rate of a product, by making a simple calculation. When you are selecting products, one of the pieces of information available is $/sale. This is the simple formula for calculating the refund rate of any product:

(Commission - $/Sale)/Commission = Average Refund Rate

Example:

Product Price - $49.95

Commission - 75% ($37.46)

$/Sale - $27.29

Average Refund Rate = (37.46 - 27.29) / 37.46 = 0.27 = 27%

A refund rate of under 15% indicates a high level of customer satisfaction. That however, is not the whole story because conversion rates also have to be taken into account. Although a product with a refund rate of under 15% can reasonably be expected to be a satisfactory product, you can still earn commissions on products with a higher refund rate if they also have a higher conversion rate. So always bear in mind both conversion rate and refund rate when selecting products.

Clickbank Marketing Ideas

It's no secret I'm a huge fan of Clickbank. I think Clickbank is the single greatest way to make money online. But marketing Clickbank can be a daunting task, so the goal of my articles is to provide advice to help you with your efforts.

First, no matter what, you need the ability to find quality Clickbank products. Without proven sellers there is no sense dumping money or effort into marketing. You can use the Clickbank Marketplace to find products, but better than that I recommend a third-party search analysis tool. A third-party tool will give you access to sale's history, gravity, refund rates and help you better track product sales week by week.

Okay, so for this article, let's say you've found a product, it converts, you're doing all the standard forms of internet marketing, cost-per-click, impression advertising, eBook marketing, newsletter marketing, forum posting, video marketing, etc. etc.

But you need to find another revenue stream.

How about OFFLINE advertising? No doubt some of you don't even know what that means anymore. I know offline doesn't register much weight with me, but with the rise of online advertising, offline is getting cheaper and cheaper. Why not build a stand-alone website for the product you're promoting and buy newspaper classified advertising.. .? Newspapers are getting killed by sites like Ebay and Craig's List. They're practically giving away classified advertising. If that works, why not try a radio advertising campaign? Did you know you can buy radio, newspaper and television advertising through Google? Maybe you just experiment with your local market and see how it goes before you a expand to a regional or national campaign. No matter what, make sure your marketing sizzles... and if you need help creating your media, not to worry. A simple Google search will provide you with a plethora of low-cost services that will help you create your radio, TV or print ad.

In no way do I think the new marketer should try this. This is for the expert only who has a budget to work with. If you're just getting started, work your way up to experimenting with offline advertising. But you rarely see Clickbank marketers going offline and that's not because it doesn't work, it's because they have an online-only mindset, but I can guarantee there is major potential in this medium if you explore it.

How To Make Clickbank Products Work For You

How would you like to be the owner of Clickbank about right now? They are the largest digital information website in the world. They provide a tremendous opportunity to make money for both publishers and affiliates.

In this article we will talk about how to make the Clickbank product work for you as an affiliate marketer.

We are going to choose the affiliate marketing model because we assume you do not want to create your own product right now. Understand that Clickbank does provide a tremendous opportunity if you ever decide to create a digital product and sell it online.

They give you a built in database of thousands of affiliates who can instantly sell your product for you so you don't want to miss out on that opportunity down the road.

As an affiliate, you can join Clickbank and quickly be set up with your own ID hop link. You create a nickname and this is embedded into the URL of every product that Clickbank sells.

At this point, you really can make as much money as you want because in reality you now have thousands of websites to promote. Some people do nothing but promote their Clickbank website directly and they do very well because they get a lot of traffic to it.

To make Clickbank products work for you as an average affiliate, you should implement a different strategy. It will be important that you capture visitors' contact information and follow-up by auto responder if you want to increase your chances to make more money selling Clickbank products. The reason for this is most people do not buy on their first visit. To sell to these people you need to be able to get back with them and follow up over a long period of time.

There is another important point to consider that will increase your chances to be more successful. The most successful Clickbank affiliates practice relationship building with their e-mail list. This simply means that they're not constantly selling the products all the time. What they are doing is becoming a trusted partner with their list by providing useful information. As you become more credible, your sales will increase when you have something of value to offer.

You also do this by being helpful and replying to emails from your mailing list. Many times these are the people that will become your best customers.

This really is the best way to make Clickbank products work for you. Get this strategy down and you can make money selling thousands of Clickbank products.

Five Ways To Make Money With ClickBank

ClickBank not only allows you to accept credit cards on your web site without the need for a merchant account, it also provides other ways in which you can generate income - in this article, I'll highlight five different ways you can start making money with ClickBank by the end of today.

1. Become an affiliate for ClickBank products

You can easily sign up as an affiliate via http://clickbank.com and then take a look through the full range of products in their marketplace for products you'd like to promote, for example by looking in the appropriate category you should find products that match up well with your existing business and that you'll be able to promote to your mailing list.

To promote a product, you simply create a hoplink, which is of the following format:

http://hop.clickbank.net/hop.cgi?nickname/merchant

Just replace 'nickname' with your own ClickBank nickname, and 'merchant' with the nickname of the merchant. If you're not sure what the nickname of the merchant is, you can always go to their sales page and extract it from their sales link - it's likely to be in the following format:

http://www.clickbank.net/sell.cgi?Merchant/1/ProductName

where 'Merchant' is the merchant's nickname.

Or for an automatic way to generate hoplinks, try the following page:

http://clickbanktoolkit.com/promoteaproduct.html

2. Sell your own product through ClickBank

There's no surer way of making money online than selling your own product, and with ClickBank you can start doing this quickly and easily.

You can sell up to 50 different downloadable products through ClickBank with a single account - and to become a merchant costs less than $50, rather than the hundreds of dollars it often takes to set up your own merchant account.

And you won't be alone - thousands of web masters sell through ClickBank including people like Ben Prater, Joe Vitale and Jim Edwards.

3. Sign up your own ClickBank affiliates

Just by signing up with ClickBank as a vendor, you can start recruiting affiliates to sell YOUR product almost immediately - and if affiliates are receiving commissions from selling your product, that means YOU are making money.

You can define exactly what level of commission you want your affiliates to receive - personally I give my affiliates 50% so we're both on an equal footing.

4. Send ClickBank new clients

You can earn cash just by promoting ClickBank itself, full details are available at http://www.clickbank.com/reseller.html - it's not big bucks, but it's useful as an additional income stream with commissions ranging between $0.05 and $10.00.

5. Promote a ClickBank Storefront

ClickBank's own MarketPlace is fairly limited in terms of functionality, but various companies offer a 'storefront' for all (or some) of the products listed in ClickBank's MarketPlace, and each one of which will have your ClickBank affiliate nickname attached.

The idea is that you promote your own storefront, and get commissions from people who visit and go on to purchase products that are listed.

The most powerful one I've seen is at http://www.CBGold.com, but there's a couple others you can view for comparison at 1stPromotion.com and ClickbankAffiliates.com.

How to Be a Successful Affiliate Promoter Through ClickBank

ClickBank allows customers to create products or services and sell them through the ClickBank's website using affiliates. Affiliates sell and promote these products and services on behalf of others, earning a commission for doing so. Affiliates help others reach a broader market than they could on their own. However, it is not as simple as accumulating a lot of products to sell. You must also know how to be a successful affiliate through ClickBank.

Instructions

    • 1
Learn from successful affiliate promoters. Ask questions of affiliates you know. Read books, listen to CDs or watch DVDs that give tips about the process.
    • 2
Promote products using blogs, email and pay-per-click advertising.
    • 3
Avoid procrastination. Learning about becoming an affiliate is necessary, but don't be afraid to make mistakes. Learn from them.
    • 4
Test all links to ensure that the ordering process works as it should. Go through all the steps a visitor to your site would take in order to pinpoint potential issues.
    • 5
Focus on a limited number of niches. Doing so allows you to become well acquainted with a few subjects. Concentrate on promoting the appropriate products for them. Don't be afraid to try the more popular niches. They often bring in more money.
    • 6
Diversify. Offer a variety of products. When some products are not selling well, other products can pick up the slack.
    • 7
Promote products according to the season. For example, focus on products that emphasize self-improvement around the first of the year.
    • 8
Don't over exaggerate the benefits of any product. If people purchase the items and find the products do not live up to advertising, they may request a refund. If they spread negative reviews, others will not buy the product.
    • 9
Promote products that answer questions or solve problems. People will be more likely to choose those products and recommend them to their friends.
    • 10
Don't give up. Becoming successful as an affiliate takes time and hard work.

How to Get an Email When You Get a Sale Through ClickBank

When you have a digital product to sell, marketing it to find buyers can be a time-consuming challenge. Vendors using the ClickBank service have the benefit of a strong digital marketplace that can promote your product and find you buyers. With your vendor account and after ClickBank approves your product, you will get an email when you get a sale through ClickBank. Email notifications of sales are only available for vendors and not for affiliate marketers.

Instructions

    • 1
Log in to your ClickBank account with your ClickBank username and password. Click the "Account Settings" tab to check the email address listed with your ClickBank account.
    • 2
View the Contact Information section of your account and check the "Account Email." Make sure the email address is correct or that this is the email address you wish to use with ClickBank.
    • 3
Change the email address you use with your ClickBank by clicking the "Edit" link to the left of Contact Information. Enter an email address to the right of Account Email. Click the green "Save Changes" button.
    • 4
Use a different email address from the account email address for sales notifications, if you desire. Click the "Edit" link to the left of "Contact Information" and enter an email address in the field to the right of "Transactional Email." Click the green "Save Changes" button. Emails informing you of sales will go to this email address instead of your account email address.

How to Make Clickbank Ads Look Like Google

An alternative to Google Adsense ads would be ClickBank HopAds. At first glance, HopAds appear to look like Google contextual link box ads with minor differences. To make these types of ads, ClickBank offers an Hyper Text Markup Language ad source code for affiliates to paste into their websites. Content management  system websites like WordPress and Joomla provide ClickBank ad plug-ins for adding into the website template and quickly customized. Create ad blocks using an RSS feed script; integrating content-related ClickBank products with an affiliate ID and placed in blog posts or website sidebars.
  1. Instructions

    • 1
Log in to Clickbank with the user name and password. Click on the "HopAd Builder" link in the "Account Settings" tab.
    • 2
Select the "Text Ads Builder" and get started with the basic appearance of relevant product ads. Enter the keywords associated with the website or blog post the ads will be placed on. Include a tracking ID to later analyze ad campaigns.
    • 3
Choose a layout for the ad. Customize the appearance of the ad block by editing fields. Refresh the ad preview  to view any changes made to the layout.
    • 4
Get the HTML ad code for the block ad created. Copy the code and paste it into the website or blog post. Save the HTML ad code to a text file on your computer  for future reference.
    • 5
Refresh the website or preview the blog post to view the ads. Check for relevancy and if needed, modify the keywords used in the basic setup of the "HopAd Builder."
    • 6
Click on the ad links and follow to the purchase page. Verify the affiliate identification is correct.

How on clickbank Create an Account

How on clickbank Create an Account

To get started as a ClickBank affiliate, first you’ll need to create a free account. Fill out the ClickBank signup form, which takes just a couple of minutes. Be sure to enter all of your contact information accurately, in case we need to contact you regarding your account and so we can send you your earnings. You’ll receive an email with an 8-digit confirmation code you’ll need to enter to complete the signup process. This email will contain your account nickname (which you chose) and password (which is the same as the confirmation code you received).

Now that your account is created, click the Log In link on the confirmation page or at the top of the ClickBank website. Once you log in, you’ll be taken to the Account Home page. This is the page where you’ll eventually be able to see your earnings, as well as important ClickBank news, updates, and more.

If you click the next tab, called Account Settings, you will see all of the information you entered on the signup form. If you have listed a U.S. address, you will see a field called Tax ID flashing in red in the Account Information section. If you have a U.S. address and earn over $600 by the end of the calendar year, you’ll need to enter an Employer Identification Number (for businesses) or a Social Security Number (for individuals) in the Tax ID field. For more information, see our Accounting Policy.

Next, you’ll see the Contact Information section. Since you’re an affiliate, you do not need to fill out any of the email addresses or phone numbers in the Contact Information box except for your basic Account Email address and phone.

By clicking Edit on the Payment Information box, you can change your payment threshold, which is the minimum amount you need to earn before we send you a check. Please note that there is a $2.50 processing charge per payment we issue, regardless of the amount of the check or direct deposit. When you first start out, you can only choose to be paid by check. However, once you’ve received two (2) checks, and if you’re in our list of supported countries, you can choose to be paid by direct deposit to your bank account.

Important: Affiliates should not fill out the My Site, My Products, or My Images pages. These are for ClickBank vendors only. Affiliates should not submit product approval requests and do not need to pay an activation charge for their account!
